anyone have one? I'm thinking about buying one. I want a solution that records and plays mp3s. esentially I want an all in one solution.

well, I must ask several questions. Do you care about the noise floor? Do you want a stereo or mono recording, or does it matter? Do you want rockbox on it? If you do want rockbox, then the H320 will do. Otherwise if you want a low noise floor, you might take a look at the zoom recorder, or the Edirol R09.

will the T10 IRiver america player work with rock box? It's a small 2gig player but I was looking on dell.com and that was one of the 2 they have.

The archos players that they have are for example.

Archos Technology
6 GB ARCHOS 104 MP3 Player

what about that one?

The Ederal R09 is fantastic. I love that unit! it only takes up to a 2 gig compact flash card though so for an actual mp3 player solution, I wouldn't really recommend it.

I ended up picking up the 320 for a decent price. I need it more for an mp3 player, but recording will be nice as well. my only gripe is that it's hard drive based, but you can't win em all. rockbox will be nice too.
